Join Songbird Lactation for a 90 minute class covering the steps to get started on a positive breastfeeding journey.  Students will learn how they make milk and techniques to drive their own experience with supply management, positioning, and troubleshooting for basic issues.  You'll leave with the information to set your own goals and put together a plan based on your real life!  Every family receives a 20 minute follow up call included in the price of their tickets.

Meet the Faciliator: Emily Peden of Songbird Lactation

Emily Peden is a Certified Lactation Counselor in Hampton Roads, Virginia.  After a decade in financial services, experiences in parenthood drove a career change toward serving families in their earliest days.  Starting in 2023, Emily has worked with hundreds of families through the Virginia Beach office of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) as well as La Leche League of Virginia Beach.  Off hours, she is a mother of two humans and one pitty with her husband.  She loves to read and sew, but really likes hanging out in the yard with her critters.
